Wow! this grille is much uglier and out-of-proportion than the ones that killed the M3, M4, i4, X7 and iX to name a few. @BMW is destroying the brand and it's sad to see as a previous owner of several bimmers.

Front end looks like a vehicular genetic experiment gone horribly wrong. What's new though?

Interior, on the other mutated hand, is otherworldly.

Damn. BMW and TUV must have forgotten about this. Good call out!

The front is NOT good. I despise split headlight designs on all automakers. I think it looks really, really strange. A face should have one set of eyes or it looks insect-like.

Otherwise, well done. Not sure about the drop down screen from a rear view mirror blocking and covering up the sunroof perspective. But more restrained than the SCREEN ALL THINGS BENZ.

Slowly and slowly we will get there. That grille is just massive. Interior I actually like except the cluster screen. Reminds me of an Audi when they just slapped square screens on their cars. Front end is not my taste but the body lines are indeed gorgeous on the sides

Or a Huyndai Palisade. Or a Kia Nero. Or Nissan Juke (I think they got there before Jeep). Or any other split headlight design.

Sadly even the Macan EV will have this. And this Sibiner proves my point...they don't look good. The Hummer EV ALMOST gets it looking decent....but still misses.

Ya, I mean, there’s no way their team of thousands of lawyers across the globe could have possibly considered this. And I bet you this never came up in a design OR engineering meeting. And I bet the safety team skimmed right over it and never crash tested any 7s with this option!

Lawsuits incoming. Right guys???? Guys?????

I like it a lot - much better than on the X7 LCI. Interior is stunning, really great. Exterior is (except for front) is much cleaner lines too.
The front is, well, the difficult point - but I actually really like it.

Amazing. Design team made an amazing job.
The interior is probably my favorite in any car I’ve seen. Looking this rich and modern in the same time is not easy.

I just hope this design language carry over to 5.

Why can't BMW design a decent front end these days. That's revolting! Next car is definitely not a BMW, your designs these days are shockingly bad.

I posted this on the M4 forum, but it's more suited for this tread!

BMW's front end design inspiration…
