Couldn't agree more. The more I look at it in person, the more it grows on me, especially in the right color/trim spec. BMW has made some interesting styling choices lately, but I think they nailed it with the latest 7. The tech is next level.

About 11 years ago, Rolls Royce offered a two-tone paint on Ghost.

Since BMW does own Rolls Royce, is this an homage of sorts?

BMW i7 has a smaller target customer segment. Looking forward to sales updates.

What's wrong with these BMW electric vehicles' haters?
If you don't like them, ignore them. Why calling names, making unintelligent analogies, and attacking people who like them?
Being a fanboy or defending a product is much better than being toxic and hateful and attacking others' taste.

Where are the "unintelligent analogies" and "calling names" part in his comment? He did not say he hated electric cars. What are you reading? You are the person who called him stupid. Like he asked, try to be more tolerant instead of pouring out your hatred onto people who think differently than you. Just relax.

I'm not talking about specific comments.

Then, it is uncalled for calling him stupid.

I did not attack anyone nor did I call anyone any names. Heck, I did not even say I hated electric cars. What is your issue? I just asked the poster to be more tolerant! You just called me stupid for asking a question. Sad.l

The car is 3 tons.

Add fuel, fluids, spare tire, stuff in the trunk and a couple of people, you are at 6500 to 7000 lbs. In a car.

How is this OK?

I mean it’s probably okay to skip adding fuel to an all-electric vehicle.

Come now, even electric cars need “fuel”. Given an average, modern, high-capacity battery, the additional weight of the i7 once “fueled” would be 0.0000000000005 kg. 😎

You’re welcome; I’ll be here all day.

There‘s a lot to like about the new flagship, but who‘s signing off the design of badges. 3 different font types (incl roundel) and odd alignment … De-badge please!

Anyone buying this car and saying they are an environmentalist are completely deluding themselves. Look at the materials, weight and technology in this thing. It’s enormous, complex and heavy by any measure.

It's got that Duracell battery look goin on

In all seriousness, that's a nice car, prob the best EV on the market as far as luxury goes. I can't get excited about it otherwise, but I'm far from the target demographic for said car

I happen to like my 760ix (not electric) but some of those two toned combinations are quite garish (trying to be restrained).

I was expecting more from an M7 in 2024 , 3.5 is not that great by any means. was expecting something closer to 3-3.2.

I find the front fascia to be…shall we say fugly? It is strange though that those headlights amd grill look great on the X7 SUV.

PS my fisrt car was a two tone 1979 Audi 5000 in those exact colors. I picked up and took Jenny Henderson to prom in that car in 1990…only reason I got to 3rd base was because she was legally blind. Those colors are repulsive and emotionally damaging.
