Sometimes they continue testing the cars and the camo wrap is likely more of a hassle to take off than it is to leave on. I was in Munich recently and they had a few X5's and iX1's rolling around in camo wraps despite being available to the public. These cars were testing other systems, the X5 even had a sticker on it stating that it was a driver assist test vehicle.
