I’ve had digital key enabled, I feel maybe they rolled it out to only 760i because I haven’t seen anybody with the 740i have the feature yet. Did your car receive a update before you got the option?

hm...

this is depending if you have DK or DK+, right?

i managed to connect my Samsung to the dealers BMW and it showed UWB enabled / DK+

just walking up to the car and opening the door worked like starting the engine without putting the phone in the charger place.

i still have the hope that it will work - with the fear that someone shatters it

It has it.. I got my i7 today and it has latest update installed and the app shows the doors and it works

Other users have said the over-the-air update for the i7 apparently isn’t out yet but a dealer can evidently do a tethered update on the car to enable the features.

Your configuration validates the tethered suggestion.

The wording of your post above suggests you just “got” your car today, as in you just received or otherwise acquired your car today from delivery.

Is this the case? Or are you saying you got into your car today and a software update has been applied?

It’s been a few days now but yes when I took delivery of my vehicle the latest software was already installed

EXCELLENT. You're right: this confirms that the update is circulating for i7.
I'll engage with my dealer to get the software updated using a tethered connection as opposed to waiting for BMW to green-light the OTA one.
