Anyone Purchased a 750i Recently?

I am a long time BMW enthusiast, and am currently targeting a 2022 750i xdrive as my next vehicle. I currently own an F10 550i xdrive and looking to trade that in to get into the 7. Has anyone in the US recently purchased one? With the market conditions, I am not seeing a lot of flexibility on pricing with my local dealer, despite many 7s sitting in the showroom for many weeks/months.

What kind of discount should I reasonably expect? Any recent owners willing to share their sales experience? Even pre-owned 7s with mileage <5k miles are going for the original MSRP at dealers. While there is a shortage of vehicles, I am not sure the 7 has the demand of a 3/5/X vehicle at much lower price points.

Maybe I should just wait out the market conditions?

Just saw a broker offering 13% off MSRP on Leasehackr.

If you are not in a rush I would wait it out.
I live in the northeast and dealers aren't really giving much of a discount on anything right now

The 7 is just about the weakest vehicle on the market right now with many deals available to be had well below MSRP. Look at the larger volume California dealers. However, you would still be paying 5-10% more than 18 months ago. I would wait if you can as prices are almost certainly to drop as the current generation ends production soon.

The wait for new model is still at least 1 year + the time required for production process.

I went for 750i two months back (after switching from another G11 LCI) as I expect production delays of the new model aswell due to the chip shortage and other possible reasons. So it may be a 6-12 months wait for production of the new 7 series. Since I need to be driving something nice for the next 2 years and the G11 LCI is still the best option from my perspective, that was a fast call (the biggest dealer contribution I saw up to date also helped, but now the same car is offered for around ~40k USD more at my dealer, so I would not pull the plug today).

There are 11 new 2022 7's listed by my local dealer. I have read elsewhere that the 7 is less affected than other models by the chip shortage. I am not in the market until next summer so don't know about prices. p.s. they have about 30 3 series as well.

I bought preowned so the current state of new cars I cannot comment.

I will say though. I went from F10 to G12 and the difference between the quality is on another planet. The jump from 3 to 5 is very nominal other than size. 5 to 7 is a quality difference that is exponential in my opinion. It is a bit of a bigger girl. That 10 inches on the back end is fairly large and the hood it seems is vast compared to the F10. She scoots a bit faster than the F10 too for the size... Carbon core and all.

Forgot to add - I LOVE THIS CAR

I'm still on the hunt for a new 750, but the dealers are not willing to budge on the pricing. Most are asking MSRP, despite finding articles like this that say the 7 series discount of 11% is available.

I know the market is tight, but I would expect to see more deals out there for a 7 given that I see some of them sitting on the dealer lots for a long time. What gives? Anyone in the industry can provide some insight?

Are dealers willing to wait for the right buyer given I am sitting in front of them ready to buy one right now?
