Delayed Windshield Washer Fluid Nozzle Jet Spray Time :(

When I go to spray windshield washer fluid, there’s a delay to when they activate that causes the wipers to wipe dry glass too long before the nozzle jets spray washer fluid. This is problematic as it may cause windshield scratching. I don’t remember it being as bad as it is now, as the wipers complete a full pass and are on their way to going back down before the fluid hits. Any adjustment to cause the wipers to be delayed - or better yet – any way for the washer fluid system to stay better pressurized and ready upon activation? I hear the motor of the jets activate quickly, but fluid doesn’t come out immediately. Strength of the spray is good as well. Thank you very much.
