Lightbulb N63 Oil-Consumption Litigation Update 2020

Just sharing this info...
Being the current owner of not one, but two BMW V8s, I still follow this story and any updates thereof. My current F0 had its engine replaced by BMW last Summer. So far so good. But I agree that a complete new engine design is long overdue.

Garage List
The article (and the lawsuits) from what I am reading, do not apply to the N63 updated engines. N63U and TU, I think. I've had 2 of those and (knock wood) have not seen any unsual oil consumption. My '17 750 had the turbo line campaign done about 18 months into my lease but I had not seen any issues, so it I guess it was preventative.

That's good to hear. But I have read about newer V8s still burning oil excessively.

Currently have a 2019 750i taken delivery of February 26, 2019, built in November 2018. I would hope this still isn't a problem?

2016, 36K miles and no oil usage. Oil was changed about 3500 miles ago and the check still shows full.
