G11 rim choice recommendations

I'am a new G11 owner, and am already looking to treat my 750i to some rims. The slightest wrong choice for these 7-Series could make the car look ridiculously silly. Wanted to post on here and ask if anybody has any recommendations rims wise? Am open to upgrading to nice OEM BMW G11 rims but wanted to ask around for some input and opinions. Any and all help is appreciated, tnx. These are my current rims-

I’m looking into getting bmw style 629 wheels as I have the pure excellence trim not the m sport and I’m currently on 18”s. They are 21”s which is why I’m still a little hesitant but they make the car look really classy and give it a beautiful OEM look

I absolutely love the style 629 rims. They look absolutely gorgeous I've seen them on a few g11/ G12s. They in my opinion are the best oem wheel choice for this generation 7. I don't feel hesitant to put 21"s on this car as I'm currently on the M performance 20"s, am just worried about how to track some down lol. I'm very picky when it's come to putting rims on all the 7s I've had.

I struggled with this as well. Ultimately went with Niche 20" wheels, changed the center caps to black/white threw on Pirelli 245/40 r20 tires and had the local BMW dealership paint the calipers red, just giving you some ideas.

Oh and if anyone is wondering what they are seeing, I swapped out both front reflectors with piano black ones.

In my opinion the G12 in any combination with 20 or 21 inch wheels need just a bit of lowering to make the stance of the car look proper, having a big wheel and a big fender gap makes it look even worse.

I agree - those stock 19s and the wheel
Gap kill the stance and look of the car. I was able to score a set of 648 style wheels for cheap so I jumped on that for now. I'm eyeing Alpina stye wheels like the AG M615. 20s-21s make a dramatic change to the car. I love it

My 648s are for sale if interested.

My ideal dream setup for this car would be the alpina style rims. 20s and 21s definitely will make these cars look more aggressive. Vossen VFS2's with spacers I feel would look gorgeous on this chassis 7.

I agree - I saw someone selling like new 21s with tires for $5,300. Great price. For that price I'd rather go aftermarket forged.

My G12 is also a pure excellence car and the 20" BMW 646 wheels really give it a classy look in my honest opinion.

For OEM wheel, I know 20'' Style 649i and 18'' style 619 are forged. 649i might be a good option. I'm not recommend style 648M. It gets bent easily on potholes.

I went with BBS CH-R II wheels and then I put some BMW emblem decals on the center caps. I think they match my car quite well.

I can concur!! My wheel cracked yesterday evening so now I'm debating paying 1158 for one wheel or going aftermarket. Any idea what is the widest wheel I can get with stock 20" staggered tires? 9 for front 10.5 back? Found some vossen, niche, and hre that I like.

Ouch man! I have 648Ms and don't have that issue.

Widest I've seen is 10.5 on our cars. I'd imagine they could fit an 11" on 20s with a custom wheel but might be too aggressive and will have to go with a lower profile tire. 10.5 seems to be the comfort zone. I've been looking for wheels for a few months.

I do have my 648s for sale if looking for a replacements. I'm maybe $150 higher for all 4 than the price of 1 and I'm in Dallas.

20'' staggered tires are 245/40 front and 275/35 back.
In this case the widest wheel you can get is 9.5 front and 11 back but 9 front 10.5 back should be ideal.

22's on this or any 7 is a must IMO.
I've run them on my current F01 and previous e65 and eventually on my G11...

Nice! Those will look sick on the car for sure. Been eying that style for the car for a while now.

Looks awesome. I have the same color combo car. I love antler style wheels. yours aren't quite the same but similar and look great. What size?

Upgraded to Avant Gard M615 Wheels. They look stunning on our rides. I went 20" since the next size up was 22".
