Is the Panoramic LED roof option a must-have?

I'm shopping for a 7 series for my girl at the moment, and for $900 I can't see it not being an option you pick, especially if you've sat in the current-gen S-Class that does the blue lighting so well.

The regular 7 series doesn't come with the LED's if you do not package it with the Panoramic LED right? Even if they have executive/m-sport correct?

I'd love to know peoples thoughts.

So far my "necessity" options are:

-M-Sport
-Multi-Contour Seats
-Exec Pack
-Pano LED Roof

Anyone with this combo? Let me know your thoughts!

When i brought my car in for service, under special arrangements, they gave me a Brand New 2019 X5 jammed out with features all i can say is that the Led Sky Lounge is beautiful. Wish i could add it to my car. Evening time compliments interior.

I have it in my G12 and it is a cool feature... however, be aware that the roof cannot be dimmed independently of the ambient lighting and this will present seeing out of the sunroof at night.

Absolutely a must have. Do it. Get the Bowers & Wilkins stereo too.

The glass in cars equipped with Sky Lounge have a whole bunch of tiny reflective dots to catch and reflect the LED light's. it only leads me to assume the led's would be built into the glass roof system but im not 100% on that statement, only assuming. Would be an awesome feature to add. We could always apply a see-through vinyl cut out to replicate the same effects in the glass.

Personally, I think its a must have option. It really helps bring the interior ambiance to a whole new level.

The 7series i have does have this roof led options. I really love it alot and would always recommend to have it.

I would NOT even consider buying a newer Luxury Sedan without one.
