How well does A/C work in 760i?

Considering a new 760i....wondering how well the A/C works? Especially in summer (I'm in Texas).

Does it throw off cold air? Is the volume of air sufficient?

Thanks for your input!

I live in LA, perhaps not as hot as TX but hot summers, and leased the car in 12/22 so went through last summer here.

Never had any issue with A/C being effective and also have the cooling seats. On hot days, was very comfortable. It takes a bit to get used to directing the air, with the redesigned vents. I found if you use several fingers, including thumb, you can be more exacting about directing the air flow.

In the menu system, for the cooling seats (if you have them) you can also control where the cooling is emphasized- on the bottom or back of the seat, which is helpful.

Also you can pre-condition through the app.

I did laminate the sky roof with the film that removes heat from the car. That makes a big difference by being able to keep the Cover to the sunroof open.

While I haven't tested the speed of the AC blower, I think it should be pretty effective.

I’m in Florida and my AC works as well as it does in any other car I owned. In my opinion it’s sufficient and shouldn’t be a factor in making your decision. I have a 24 760 and it’s an awesome car. What else are you considering?

Coming from many S-classes....and now and X7 M60i...which has poor A/C (for Texas)....don't like the current S-class...drove the 7....liked it. Not perfect (wish the front end was more elegant)...but fell in love with the inside and the drive....so it's the 760....or wait to see the "refreshed" S-Class later this year...or possibly see if Audi steps up its game with the new A8...

Thank you both for your input!

People complain a lot about the
AC on the x7 but not so much on the 7 series. I heard that the vents are too small for such a large suv but who knows. I wouldn’t dismiss the people complaining but it’s the x7 they are complaining about not 760.
