Tire Pressure Sensor

Took the family out for a drive on Saturday, after 45 minutes of in city driving, the iDrive gives a tire sensor system error. I cannot recall the exact message but it was something like check tire sensor system as it will not monitor your tire pressure. I pulled over and decided to reset the tire sensor. The system completed the reset process and it reached 100%. Everything seems to be working fine of all sudden. Any idea what might have trigger it to report an error? Thanks

Did you check the air in your tires?

I did, some were 39 psi and some 41 psi.
