radio/climate controls
What’s up guys , lost light/display on my radio controls and climate controls in my 2018 750. Is there a fuse for these controls or anything else I should be looking into ? Also , the climate control is still on the last setting before the display went out so that end is still functioning as well as media still functioning from idrive and steering wheels . Any advice or input much appreciated

Did you look at your fuse index sheet? If not, it may be in a slot in your rear fuse box if the G11 is like my older F chassis BMWs.
Until another g11 owner chimes in with information…you’ll have to take matters into your own hands and find your fuse index sheet to see if there are fuses listed.

The Control Panel for Audio Mode / Heating & Air Conditioning systems, Module S170a, gets it electrical power from the Heating/Air Conditioning module A95, which gets it's electrical power from the Body Domain Controller, module A258, via F3, 30F which is 7.5A fuse, which is actually on the Body Domain Controller.
Access to the Body Domain Controller, requires the removal of the passenger's lower footwell panel just before the door and under the dashboard as shown in the figure below. In the figure, there is an arrow on F1 and F6. Those are the fuses. Last edited by M_Bimmer; 08-19-2023 at 11:53 PM.. |

Removing your radio A/C control panel to check for electrical power (+12VDC) is on the A137*1B Pin 4, and ground on Pin 1....
