N63B44A valve stem seals

2010 750li with 145k miles. Smokes at startup n at idle. Will be pulling heads to replace valve stem seals, timing chains n guides n anything else that may be damaged
Pulled out engine last Saturday the dynamic drive system seemed a bit intimidating to deal with at first but it came apart easily
A piece of the blow off valve on bank 1 turbo had broken off n was sitting in the intercooler
Both turbos have damaged wastegate valves which I’m sure cause a horrible rattle

Got the driver side head removed. Big difference in the heads between the n63b44a n the n63b44b having no valvetronic to mess with will make this a bit quicker to replace the valve stem seals. Timing marks lined up before disassembly. Crankshaft pulley has an MP mark which lines up with the divet in the timing cover n flat spots face up on the camshafts

Pulled passenger side head now have to make my parts list n get everything ordered. Turbos look like they’ve been leaking as well n like I mentioned before the wastegate has some major play. I found a repair kit for the wastegate n rebuild kits for the turbos for fairly cheap so I will be ordering those as well

Amazing work! Is this motor direct injected? Why are the valves and ports so clogged?!
