2020 B7 Optional 21" Alpina Wheels & Michelin 4S Tires Like NEW

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Item Interest
Selling a set of 21" Alpina wheels and tires in like new condition. These were on a customer car prior to him modifying his Alpina even further. They are off of a 2020 B7 and they are the optional up-sized 21" wheels (standard were 20") These are in like new condition wrapped in brand new 4S Michelin tires. They are 21x10.5 in the rear (295/30/21) and 21x8.5 in the front (255/35/21).If I could make these work for my F12 (different hub sizing) - I would not even think about selling these as they are a work of art. Pictures do not do these wheels justice. If a local buyer cannot be found I will entertain shipping options at buyer's expense. Thank you!

Damn, these are beautiful. I've been looking for Alpina style wheels. If only you could ship and these were slightly cheaper 😀.

At this point I am strongly considering it. I don't mind packaging these up and all that good stuff but rather the anxiety of letting them go into the shipper's hands lol. As long as the buyer covers shipping expenses I am up for it

Your problem is two-fold.

The number of Alpina owners is so small, especially since the B6 was axed a couple years ago. Add to that the new 5x112 bolt pattern of your wheels only fits G-series cars.

Finally it's the price. You initially offered them at the same price that the factory would charge for brand new wheels. That probably turned off some potential buyers as people come to these classified's looking for a deal.

With that said they are truly gorgeous wheels and I hope they find a new home soon.

I appreciate your feedback but they are optional 21" wheels - not the standard 20" wheels. Please send me a link for brand new 21" Alpina wheels that can be had for $6,000.

Also these are off of a B7 not a B6....the statement you made about these being off of a B6 and only fitting G cars absolutely makes zero sense as the B6 never ran the new style hub pattern 🤔

I think what he was trying to say is the pool of potential interested customers is so small now that the B6 never carried over with the B7. So you're limited to only B7 G series customers or G12 7 customers that want Alpina style wheels.

Regarding the price, my dealer pricing form BMW for a full set is right around $6K plus tax. Free shipping and warranty. No tires included.

If I wanted to get these used, they can be had for $4,000 or under with free shipping, no warranty, no tires.

I recall seeing the 21s on ECS for $1500ish each at one point. They range from $1500-1700 per wheel online which includes free shipping from most fo the online merchants and the warranty with proof of purchase.

Don't have to believe me, just plug in the part number into google and you'll see it. I did a lot of research as I was very interested in these wheels since buying my 7. I'm stuck between spending 4K-6K on genuine Alpina wheels or go full custom 3P forged.

To be honest, I wouldn't even know where to price these, it's a tough market to sell B7 parts as it's very limited customer pool. Same goes for G12 7 owners that would want Alpina style wheels.

I hope they sell and you get your asking price. They are stunning wheels. Patience will be key here if your selling on forums. eBay could be a good option but after fees, shipping and hassle, may not be worth it depending on how much you paid for these.
ECS only had the older style 10" wide wheel in the rear with 21" sizing - 2020 Alpinas had a wider setup. These are 10.5" in the rear - all of you continue to tell me how much these wheels can be had for but yet no one can provide me a link. At this point I'm probably just gonna take them down from here. I appreciate everyone's feedback.

I just called Classic BMW of Plano for fun to see what the part numbers, widths, and prices for a 2020 BMW B7 CS16 style wheel.

The price he quoted me is $6,500 before taxes and that's MSRP before my discounts.

The part numbers are

Front: 36107881470
21x8.5
Rears: 36107991472
21x10

Since you are adamant they are 10.5, I googled it and came across BMWs Blog announcement for the 2020 B7 which shows that the have the optional 21x10. I attached a screen shot for you. I also included the part numbers they gave me.

It's possible we are idiots and have no clue what we are talking about. Either way, GLWS and if you do decide to drop the prices further hit me up. I may still be on the market looking for wheels if I haven't gone aftmarkeg.
Once again...2016-2019 fitment prior to the facelift. Never did I call someone an idiot - simply asked for proof on someone's statement, otherwise why bother? It is beyond me for someone to think that this is a bad deal. The wheels alone without TPMS/Center Caps/Brand New Michelins are $1546.27 and $1675.13 respectively. This is of course for 2016-2019 Alpinas. If an admin could close this listing that would be great. P.S. This is information directly sourced from your part numbers.

upload images

I would go directly with a brand new set from your dealership

TPMS - WHEELS - CENTER CAPS = $7,000 not sure how much brand new 21" PS4s are but I assume they are at least $1,500 for a brand new set. So my deal at $5300 is bad...okay. I am done here.

Will these fit a 2020 M760i?

Also, can the "Alpina" center cap be changed out and if so where would you buy an alternative?

Yes these would fit a 2020 M760, I am not sure about the center cap question but I can take the caps off and take some closer photos for you to compare the design to an OEM center cap. I figure the caps would be the same as the hub size is the same.

The Alpina centercaps are completely different. The wheels do not have your regular valve stem. It is hidden under the cap and one of the spokes is hollow as air passage to the tire. I don’t think you’d want to modify them. Here is a video for reference.

You're looking at the previous gen Alpina wheels. The OPs wheels have the same 55mm center cap than any current BMW wheel would have.

Yeah we are comparing apples to oranges here. Spoke style ends are different, wheel design is different, and finally the entire hub design and sizing is different. Photos do not do these wheels justice.
