Just saw an I7

So much for dealers holding before release. Saw a new I7 this morning in Palm Desert. It did not have dealer plates. Briefly asked the owner how he liked it. He loves it! Front looks really nice. I am not in love with the rear view. Actually I preferer the outgoing models rear view.

You don't like the rear view, and there are lot of others who don't like the front view. The solution may be always to apprach the car from the side.

Wow Thanks For sharing , I am surprised to see one on the streets , must have been a demo car that the customer bought from the dealer.

There was a Testdrive Event for press people in Palm Springs... I think it was last week. Perhaps it has to do something with it...

Those Testdrivereports are going to be released tomorrow, Sunday, 6th nov 2022!

That would make sense. It was surprising to see the i7. If any were around I would have expected to see the 740 or 760. It did have regular issue California plates, not dealer or manufacturer plates. Palm Springs is only 20 minutes from where I saw the car.

Likely a demo. Autogefuehl’s review featured 9CWG086, while this is 9CWG080, so probably these cars are all registered one after another.

All of the recent video reviews posted on YouTube etc are coming from this area. You can see the desert and mountains. They had a large amount of new 7s available for the press. Some really rode them hard too!
