Watched the Hitmans Wifes Bodyguard last night.

I say this while being a fan of Ryan Renolds. Every character he plays is just Deadpool without a mask now.

I like Ryan Reynolds too but he's always Mr. Quip, constantly rattling off the one liners. His best acting in my book is in "Safe House," which I think is a very good movie. Shows he's got talent.

Yep early on, every role he did he was like Van Wilder (see Waiting for evidence)

then his Van Wilder-acting just became even more adulter-ized into Deadpool and now every role is Deadpool without a mask-like in Hitman's Body Guard, his small role in Hobbs & Shaw, even 6 Underground rich guy playing Deadpool.

Patriot Games has been popping up and off of my guide list. I like Clearn and Present Danger much more.

The whole plot of Patriot Games starting with Ryan being in a right place right time is meh to me.

Patriot games wasn't bad but was let down by bad bits in the film notably at the end with Miller (Bean) even killing his own people to get at Ryan in the boat scene and Ryan's wife steering the porsche straight into a bank getting away from the shooters.

Not a big fan of Jack Ryan films. I wish they made a film out of red storm rising. I liked that book a lot better. The only good Clancy movie made so far was the original, Hunt for red October

Yeah I mean it's called "Patriot" Games, implying Miller is a patriot for his country/cause (same as Ryan) but after the initial hit on that govt official its just the revenge to get back at Ryan show. He just hands with the ex-communicated terrorists to wait his time to get to Ryan.

For sure the film was a trifle OTT and to top it off was Ryan walking into an Irish pub and telling the IRA fund bod (Richard Harris) ''I will F* kill you'' ..oh right.

We watched being the Ricardo's last night. I really enjoyed that. Although Nicole Kidman has had some bad plastic surgery, she really had the voice and mannerisms of Lucille Ball down. And it was quite funny.

I watched "A Broken Rose" and the first ten minutes of "No Witnesses"…..both were Amazon movies I believe. The former had potential and I was able to stomach the movie, but the latter I just couldn't do it. Both had poor dialogue and blah cinematography. I kept asking myself, "Who the hell wrote this/these script(s)?!!"
