2014 750i false service notification
I’m getting an intermittent overdue service notification
“Service due since 10/2010” My car is a 2014 with no service due. Dealer did software reset. Notification still shows up intermittently. Anyone else? Is this an issue? How do I fix this. TIA |

Which service is due? When you get this message, you can go to the SERVICE screen to see which service is due.
Could it be a statutory inspection warning that you’re getting that is not required where you live? If it is, it is up to you to change the date of this inspection…which you can do using the iDrive controller knob. The statutory inspections are the ones that have a little squiggly icon in front of it. These are inspections required by local or state municipalities…and again, the reset is done using the iDrive controller knob to reset the date. If you don’t have these required inspections where you live, you can reset the date to a far off date in the future so that it doesn’t come up again while you own the vehicle.
