I need to get rid of my orange reflectors. How difficult was it to remove them?

Ordered the part online with the color of my car; I gave it to a local renown body shop they charged me like 100$ to install the front reflectors, the black back trim and the black grills. It was not worth my time and effort to get it done. They came out great. I think labor for the reflectors was around 25$.

Now for the same amount of labor BMW STEALER wanted 525$ for the reflectors and 1200$ in labor for all the parts installed

Very nice.

Mine came with the blackout that you did, but I do like the reflectors.

Lovely car Drift Master, and great mods so far! Love the new look.

Have you not thought about changing the rear lower reflectors as well? (I seem to recall another person on here doing it so assume it is legal to do in the USA?)...

Luckily here in the UK we don't have the front reflectors on the wheel arches so don't have to bother. On some cars, I quite like the chrome rear strip but agree on an otherwise all black model...the black strip looks great!

I do like a boot (trunk) spoiler but not everyone's taste.

Enjoy, looks great. Safe travels.

I kinda like the red on Black so not planing on changing the back. The tiny spoiler on such a big car to me doesn't add much to the look and not worth the expense but this is personal taste.

Thank you, will post pics after the tint and clear bra I think it will make it really look the Part.

Added:
Carbon fiber plate holder done
Vanity plates next
M sport tire caps done

Drift Master, where/how did you source the black back trim piece? Is a black part available from BMW or did you have it painted, etc..?

Thank you.

Martin 2C,

Thank you very much. I would also like to black out the 750I but cannot find a part for that.

DriftMaster or Martin 2C,

I would also like to change out the orange reflectors, is there a part for that?

Just get it wrapped at a local detail shop, otherwise BMW will rape you for this.

The orange reflectors replacements are IND arhat can be ordered online with color match to your car. Creative motoring 133$

The M performance comes with blacked out "hockey stick" that's the main reason I went with black car and performance as it blends in and I am not a fan of the STICK

the back chrome is a BMW part 51-71-2-413-831 Set Trim Strip Black High 160$ from get BMW PARTS

The black kidney grills BMW part 51-71-2-289-685 and 51-71-2-289-686 around 220$

Ive been asked by many if I painted mine but both my car and my brothers came that way, already a gloss black.
