BMW 750Li vs MB S560L
For someone who really appreciates and enjoy BMW for its drivability, specially after owning M5 F10 LCI for 4 years, I am seriously considering buying BMW 750Li...
The thing is, almost every time I check a comparison between the current 750Li vs MB S560L vs Audi A8L... Almost most if not all would suggest that the S class would be number 1 Then the 7 series Then the A8 Anyone can comment on that and share feedback or comments personal experience please... Thanks

Most reviews look at S Class, 7 Series and A8 from a passenger perspective.
S Class is probably the best car to be driven in, but recent review I saw, 7 Series was the best to drive. Having had 3 A8’s on the bounce, and now a 7, I can confirm that 7 is best to drive by a long way. |

For me:
1. BMW 2. Mercedes 3. Audi They are all very nice cars but for me, BMW has the best infotainment, best engine, transmission, a very good comfort and a very nice interior. Sure the Mercedes is also a very good car but BMW wins as it has the best Infotainment system (Navigation, HUD Display, Touchscreen). Thats the main reason. The Mercedes is slightly more comfortable I don't like the low middle screen of the Audi. I'm driving actually a S-Class 2015 and I'm going to switch back to BMW 7 Series LCI next year. Probably the Hybrid 745Le. Before the S-Class I had a 750Li F02 2010. |

My wife's refrain applies here: "I'd rather be a passenger in a Mercedes but I'd rather drive a BMW". I have not had the new S class, so I can't comment on that car specifically, but I have had S class in the past. I surely prefer BMW. That does not mean that the S is a bad car; it isn't. But my preference is not necessarily anybody else's, so the way you can decide is to test drive both.

I strongly prefer the iDrive system intuitiveness over the Command system. I think the BMW is better to drive; I still like having a CD player and internal hard drive for my music. I love gesture control, and the LED sunroof. I prefer the gearshift lever to not be on the steering column as it is with Mercedes. The only thing I like better about the S Class is it is easier for me to get in and out of the car (I am 6’5”) due to each car’s B pillar location. Last edited by Kmish; 11-02-2018 at 11:18 PM.. |
