Front Cross Traffic?
Does the G11/G12 have front cross traffic alert? I've read articles that say only the rear and some say the front too. I've never experienced the car alerting for front cross traffic. Any know?

It does not...and the rear isn't the best either. My wife's explorer picks up rear cross traffic 300% earlier than my 750. Don't get me wrong I love my 7 and don't really care about the cross alerts.

I beg to differ with my peers and hope I can share a feature they didn't know they had, it is not very obvious and does not come on automatically if you are driving forward but it is there (depending on country and options I suppose, there may be exceptions but my 2016 UK model has it EDIT: you may need driving assistant pro and the full automated parking package but not sure)...Worth looking in your user manual for the below items to see if you have it from the pictures I've included:
I definitely have it as I use it at cross roads with no side visibility (due to hedges or parked cars and it is very helpful, as well as the rear setup as long as you are moving SLOWLY (and I mean very slowly). There are limits to the system but it works well for me (front and back). Hope this helps.

Sounds like it's a Euro option only. I find the rear cross traffic very helpful and I normally don't back into a parking spot so never have tried to test if there is front cross traffic. I will check my manual as well. Thanks for the replies!

I believe I have it because I have gotten the tone alerts. This is from a BMW video: You need Driving asistant Plus.

I have Plus as well. I'll be more observant next time and see if it does have it.

I have it on mine and I combine it with a front camera activation at a junction I visit nearly every time I drive. It gives a good level of feedback and the red tinges are seen in the camera view too.
