for HRE's the offset should have been more aggressive. Should have been more flush for the money...

Brake calipers not murdered-out. Too low for serious driving.

Bring the wheels out any further and they would have had to stretch the tires, roll the fenders and/or raise the height to prevent rubbing. Your Camry with enough wheel gap to fit a fist isn't an equal comparison.

Eh... doesn't work for me and could have been done a bit better... I don't mind the "murdered out" look, but first thing I noticed was the rotors need to fill the wheel space better, the rears especially look so tiny and awkward.
And I swear a few times in the video I thought I was looking at a Genesis coupe, and another time it looked like an Altima.

Stop saying murdered out!
Calipers red, front badge still chrome, lights not tinted & exhaust tips not black = not "murdered out" I'll take an RC-F in orange. |

I've never cared for the murdered out look. It hides all the beauty of a car. Matte Black is at least more unique.
I'm cool with black wheels, just not with black paint. |

Bro, rollling fenders would be the cheapest thing to do on that car. If he can spend that much on the body kit/paint, a $50 fender roll won't break the bank. Just sayin the guy got lazy with wheel fitment and wheel choice. |

I saw one of these for the first time last weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. It sounded good, too. Sharp looking car in the flesh.
I've never been a fan of matte finishes but this car looks pretty clean. Just not my thing. Cars gotta have that *SHINE* to show the lines.

Unless that blue M5 has air ride, I can almost guarantee that thing rides like a brick considering how little gap there is between the fender and tire vs the RCF. I know stretched tires aren't needed, but in the balance of stiff ride vs not rubbing, stretching can help. I bet it rides just as nice if not nicer than either M5 you posted. I've rolled the fenders on my E36 328 to clear 18's and the GF's E61 535xiT to clear 20's...both are still going to need tires stretched though to clear better because I don't want either car riding like it's on bricks if I keep lowering to get a fitment like the blue car. I've trimmed the bottom of the plastics fender extension on my Harley F150 so the 22's don't rub on harder bumps. I've got perfect fitment on the 22's on my X5M, lowering didn't kill the ride but I've rubbed the bottom of the fender extension a few times on aggressive cornering. I know $50 isn't going to break the bank, but I'm guessing there's a reason the fenders aren't rolled and/or fitment isn't better...as it's being claimed dude was being lazy vs maybe it's planned. People are commenting like it's a Chevy pickup with a foot of gap and the wheels are inset 6". It's almost flush, tires aren't stretched for clearance issues and the wheels aren't tucking so he doesn't feel obligated to bro it out fully by putting a 'Stance' sticker on the front window lol. I'm no longer into the all black look but it looks good and I wouldn't complain if it was sitting in my garage. Last edited by m5james; 02-27-2018 at 08:18 PM.. |

Dude, are you blind? It needs a good 15 to 20-mm spacer on all four corners to make it flush. And the wheels are definitely tucking. |

That's not what the owners say: the white M5 owner says no rubbing and the blue M5 owner says the coils "tucks the 305's so nicely", so I'm guessing they don't rub.
