Dunkin' Donuts employee arrested after cop finds 'large, thick piece of mucus' in his

https://www.yahoo.com/gma/dunkin-don...opstories.html

Quote:
A Dunkin' Donuts employee has been arrested after a police officer found a "large, thick piece of mucus which was later confirmed to be saliva" in his coffee.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:20 p.m. on July 30 when an Illinois State Police (ISP) District Chicago Trooper bought a large black coffee from a Dunkin' Donuts establishment located on Archer Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.

"Due to the coffee being extremely hot, the Trooper removed the lid from the top of the cup to cool it down," the Illinois State Police said in a statement.

It was then that the officer noticed the mucus and saliva floating inside his coffee cup.

The ISP immediately began an investigation into the incident which culminated just a couple of hours later with the arrest of 25-year-old Dunkin' Donuts employee Vincent J. Sessler.

Sessler was taken into custody without incident by the ISP District Chicago Troopers and has been charged with Disorderly Conduct and Battery to a Peace Officer.

Kelly also said that ISP officers and employees will now be prohibited from patronizing that Dunkin' Donuts location for their own safety.

Sessler currently remains in custody at the Chicago Police Department's 8th District while the investigation continues.

As a cop, i've ridden the ups and downs. Sometimes we're loved, sometimes we're not. But this....this could be the end. Dunkin Donuts has fallen.

No way would I eat out anywhere if I was an officer in uniform. Bring in my own coffee or stop on the way in when not in uniform. Food from home.

It’s sad but I am sure this happens a lot and they don’t even know it.

Well you'd have to prove he knew he was positive for CV19.

So I guess if you want to take the side of the defence you could argue that there was a big petrified booger in the bottom of the cup from the factory that got rehydrated when the hot coffee was poured into it, or you could go with the common sense argument that the guy who took your order and prepared it also horcked it into the cup.

Oh, and perhaps a actual police investigation where you questioned the employees and the suspect and maybe did a DNA sample of the said booger and that of the suspect.

I still like the Cherry Beach method of punishment, that will be lost on most but use your imagination.

im sure he admitted his guilt or someone squealed ...you think they would run DNA of said loogey and then get warrants for everyone's DNA in the dunkin for such an offense? if everyone stayed quiet.

So here's the thing about DNA......it's expensive, but the story is getting some coverage and really can you put a price on justice? Like I said, back in the day this would've been dealt with by way of "out of court settlement".....just saying.

No need. They have camera footage that will show who spat in the cup.

The lab test will come back faster than a pregnancy test. If guilty, I hope that he gets a maximum penalty. The cops are out there putting their lives on the line everyday and this is simply disgusting.
