2014 750 ECU Tune

Just did a tune for the 750 4-MATIC. The car ended up making an additional 132 horsepower and 150 ft. lbs. of torque.

On a Mustang Dyno with 91 Octane fuel-

539.9 HP
644.1 ft.-lbs. torque

This is a shop car so we now have a well developed tune available for this platform. We are very excited to offer this to 750 bi-turbo owners.

that's dope! using the N63tu correct? how safe/well-tested is the tune.

I'd definitely be interested in this.

Can you tune a 2011 750 (N63)?

You can either bring the car by our shop or send us the 2 ECU's out of your car.

That's a great price for 100+ hp and factory reliability, don't you think? I would recommend NEVER installing anything from JET on your European car. You are not getting anything of value for your money with that.

Are you able to tune the N63 or just the N63tu?
Is this a standard tune or do you tune each car specifically?
If you tune each specifically can you dyno tune for better drivability and power gains?

We spent a lot of time working this tune out on the dyno on my own personal car. We have gotten it to the point of perfection. The lowest horsepower it makes on 91Octane fuel is 507.

With better Octane we have achieved over 540 with this same exact tune. This has been tested for over 10,000 miles and we have not had 1 hiccup the whole time. If you have a 750 and ann additional 100 horsepower is just what the doctor ordered than this is the perfect solution for you.

If you are local, we can do a before and after dyno for you as well. You can also send the computers to us from anywhere and we can give you the perfect tune for your car that will work perfectly in your climate with your fuel.

This is the best bang for your buck with this car.

Thank you for your response Craig. Is this tune only for the N63tu motor (2013-present) only, or do you offer it for the N63 (2009-2012)?

When you say better octane what fuel were you running?
Have you tried a 91 and E85 mix?

I have not tuned the older N63 motor yet. The motors are different in a lot of ways as well as the hp ratings but you can expect some very similar results with the older motor as we would do many of the same changes that we did to the ECU programming on the later car.

The Octane was raised with an Octane Booster but the tank was almost empty when we did it so it was quite a bit of Octane Booster compared to the amount of gas. It was dine using the Boostane Professional Octane Booster. I'm not really sure what octane it would have equated to, opinions very widely with octane booster. What I can tell you is that the difference was enormous.

Thanks for your reply. Let me know when you can do the N63, id like to tune my F02.

I would try a 91 and E85 mix. It works very well and E85 is only $2 a gal in CA where I am at. I run it in my M5 with good results.

We can tune your car now if you would like to get it done. I see that you are in California too. If you come here we can do a dyno before and after as well.

The Alpina B7 2013+ is 540HP with 538lb-ft.

I think a safe tune would be the one identical to that. I just think you should just steal the maps from the B7 and paste it. How come this cannot be done?

edit:
"Like the rest of the 2013 7-series lineup, the B7 has been refreshed this year. (It went on sale in the U.S. in this essential form as a 2011 model, and the previous-gen car was offered here, as well.) There are aesthetic tweaks to the front and rear ends, but the most notable update involves the fitment of BMW’s Valvetronic variable valve timing and lift to the force-fed V-8, a tweak that brings 40 additional hp and 22 more lb-ft of torque.

Horsepower now stands at a stout 540—97 more than in the 750i, which uses this same basic engine, albeit with smaller turbos, different heads, and different pistons—and torque is 538 lb-ft. For further perspective, the B7 even has a few more ponies in the stable than does the twin-turbocharged V-12–powered 760Li. The Alpina’s top speed has increased from 175 to as high as 194 mph. An automatic engine stop-start system is now standard because one comes on all 2013 7-series models, not because it will matter to B7 buyers." - http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...t-drive-review

I'm not sure if they are referring to the old N63 or the new N63T.. The fact the N63T uses bigger turbos means it should be easy to kick up boost to 630HP but I think the fuel injector duty cycle would be be too high and require a fuel system upgrade? Maybe the fuel delivery system also needs an upgrade? No one bothers to drop a huge upgrade system for the F01 as they can make more money modifying expensive AMG and M cars instead? Charging $3k for just an electronic firmware and soldering modification is insane.

The b7 has different turbos/intercooler.. so not what works for the b7 will most likely not work for the 750i...

I'm assuming by tuning the n63tu you not only raised the boost but also adjusted the fuel map?

--100 hp increase; I'm curious in to how many pounds of boost over stock youre running..
--A/F ratio; how did your car run @ idle/WOT?

**I'm pretty interested in this tune as well...
