Thanks for the review! They seem to be a nice improvement.

2.000 yds, good swim. Not particularly fast, just a good workout. Shared the lane for half the time and had a lane to myself the other half.

im fortunate that most of the time I am Theo only one at our condo lap pool. but I honestly hate when other people are close to me not just from the turbulence but from the risk of hitting(or being hit) by another person.

I did 4000 lonely meters today(with music and I loved it)
I am going to introduce more intervals next week

1800m/1962yds today, good swim.

Found a 50m pool while traveling, a nice change. Slower pace because of fewer wall push-offs.

I prefer 50m pools because of the larger water volume and fewer waves. Short course pools can feel like swimming in a bathtub, because of choppy waves, when crowded.

The pools in south Florida are really nice especially when combined with hot tub and sauna but by late April they are no longer refreshing. It was still great to swim 50 laps daily and do resistance exercises in the water

Good swim yesterday... About 2500m. Main set was 3x100 on 1:50 then 1x300m then 2x100 on 1:50 then 1x200m then 1x100 and finally a 100m as fast as possible. I was breathing hard after that haha. Have been swimming with the next fastest lane for the past few swims and it has been a good challenge to keep up.

Someone turned 48 so tonight's main set was 48 25's on 30 seconds. Warm up and a bunch of kick as well then a pull set with varied breathing.

1600yds yesterday, good swim. I was short on time so got out of the pool at 1600yds. Back home in a 25yd pool.

I swam 7 of the 8 200s faster than my target pace of 1:40/100, felt good about that. I am thinking of swimming a 550yd to see where I am vs my lifeguard training a couple of months ago.

Main set yesterday was a 3 x 5x100m with each 500 being free/stroke/free. Wasnt having a great time... No energy and felt like the water was fighting me the whole time. Trying to cut another 10lbs so running a calorie deficit which I think was the main cause. Hopefully tomorrow is better.

1750 yds today, good swim. Swam a personal best for 550 yards, 9:16. Required time is 10 minutes for 550 yards for the Florida lifeguard job I applied to. At that time I qualified with approx 9:40 for 550yds so I have picked up 25 seconds which feels good.

Stroke feels more efficient, which is a never ending journey. I know for sure my form breaks down as I get tired. Pull becomes weaker and less efficient, I breathe more often and turns are less crisp. All areas for improvement!

1600yds today, good swim.

Our main pool is down for maintenance! So we swam at our second choice and much busier pool.

I shared a lane with another swimmer for 2/3 of the time, and with a third for 1/3. When I got out a fourth swimmer had jumped in! Too many for me. I got out, making it three in the lane again.

I don’t mind sharing a lane but more than two swimmers per lane is too many for me.

I dont know how you deal with that. it's hard enough to concentrate on your own swim, but to constantly be distracted with others and creating turbulence. thats not for me

We often have 3 or sometimes 4 in a lane togethor but we are all doing the same swim at the same pace roughly so it isnt bad. If we were all doing our own thing it would be chaos for sure.
