I'm OK with all of it. Except... That horrendous front end. I will never get over it. Hopefully the next Gen will save face. 👀

Wow. Hideous. Hopefully an Iranian drone will take it out. Should be a solid color - the two tone certainly ruined a beautiful and unique green.

What’s next for custom jobs? Sewing I6 into the headrests?

As is always the case, money certainly doesn’t not mean class or intelligence.

Hmm - not sure about that as V8s (outside of trucks) go the way of the dodo

Of course, this is courtesy of Abu Dhabi Motors 🤣, so I suppose I shouldn?t be too surprised by the visual direction.

What?s more disappointing, in my opinion, is BMW?s decision to equip this edition with SensaTec rather than a Merino or a true special-edition leather. For a limited V8 flagship, this sends the wrong message about where the brand is heading in terms of materials, craftsmanship, and perceived quality.

IMO, if BMW was going to release a special edition like this, it would have made far more sense to treat it with the same level of craftsmanship and exclusivity as the Skytop editions. premium materials, unique finishes, and interior execution to match the exterior statement.

As it stands, it feels more like a cosmetic experiment than a true collector-grade special edition.
Such a long post, full of self-confidence...
The interior is BMW Individual Merino Leather, not Sensatec.
The reason for the "V8 Edition" is because the Middle East market will no longer receive V8 models once the New 7 is released - hence these "final" editions.
They are sold-out.

This 760i has the S7M8 package – INDIVIDUAL INTERIEUR GRAN LUSSO. Full leather and thick carpets, not some Sensatec.

I 100% agree!!! It is extremely tacky all of the stupid V8 badges are stupid and the V8 embroidered on the headrests is super TACKY. along with the V8 badge on the rear pillar. So stupid.
No creativity with the badging whatsoever, looks like they went to autozone and got some stick ons.

Went from this v12 beast to a flying spur instead of a new 7 because no matter what colour you paint the front is just yuck ugly

I?m not sure what?s really putting you on the defensive here, the length of the post, my confidence, or simply my opinion of the vehicle.
If the interior is indeed BMW Individual Merino, then that?s good to hear.
As for the explanation behind the ?V8 Edition,? I?m well aware the Middle East will lose V8 allocations with the next 7 Series. That explains the naming, but it doesn?t automatically elevate the car into a truly collector-grade special edition. A badge and a two-tone paint job don?t quite reach the level of execution we?ve seen in BMW?s more serious special projects.
And ?they?re sold out? isn?t really the mic-drop argument you seem to think it is. Plenty of questionable automotive decisions sell out quickly, especially in markets where novelty and exclusivity alone move units.
So yes, the post was long. That tends to happen when someone is discussing design direction, materials, and brand positioning rather than simply repeating brochure bullet points.
