Display Key covered by warranty?

Just popped down to my dealership but the service department are not open again until Monday.

Display key has stopped working. Can still open and start the car but the display screen is dead - anyone know if this is covered under the warranty?

I get an error on startup saying: "i: the remote battery is discharged"

I have put they key in the wireless charging pocket , the blue light comes on to show it's charging but nothing happens with the screen. Have tried turning on with the power button before somebody states the obvious

You'd expect so wouldn't you, certainly the original 3 year warranty not sure about the AUC warranty if that's what you've got, I never used mine so I'm not sure on this point but does it have a removable battery as that might be the issue?

Try charging it with a micro USB cable. The port is covered by a bit of rubber on the side of the key.

Thanks. I've tried that and it doesn't do anything. It's like the screen has packed in?!?

Maybe screen or maybe the battery is totally discharged and not capable of recharging. No reason not to let it sit connected by USB on a known good charger for a day or so. But it should be a warranty repair.
