Dude, those shots are not an accurate representation of the color. SGM is WAY darker than that in almost all lighting conditions.
Trust me...look at my sig.

Um, well sorry to say, but that is what SGM looks like, since my 335i is SGM.
That pic is straight off my D40, no photoshopping at all...maybe you need to have your eyes checked.

Look in the background. I highly doubt that is Germany.

Comparing colors on the internet is really pointless. Especially with the prevailance of LCD which is notorious for inconsistency in displaying colors. I have a dual screen LCD setup from dell right now and the two screen display SG at different shade of black. In fact, my macbook pro on my bed right now will display SG in a 3rd shade. Check your attitude at the door. I hate to see this forum to turn into another E90post.

The picture that Maximus Decimus showed is also dark around the edges, I am looking at my picture on my screen and his as well, i put them in paint and put them right next to each other. THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME COLOR. While i realize that different monitors show different shades, my picture is still SGM...I dont understand what you guys are arguing about, its not like i am making this up, when you say that its to dark to be SGM...then what freaking color is it? EVERY COLOR changes in different light. My picture represents my car, in my garage with a flourescent light on. End of story, in the sunlight, it looks like Maximus's car. So in the end, you are right, it is pointless to argue, and I didnt have an attitude until you called me out on it. I was joking, so maybe next time you should just talk to me and not assume... After all, different computer monitors show different levels of sarcasm right?
