Oil Capacity Question

Doing some maintenance on my dads 2011 750i while I'm in town and I can't seem to find a straight answer on this. What is the oil capacity of a 2011 750i? I don't want to over fill and ive seen a few different answers on the web so far.(8.5 and 9)

Probably what you are seeing is...some people are giving the oil capacity in liters and some are converting the oil capacity to quarts.

Here's some info from the BMW TIS...I'm assuming he has the N63 engine (not the N63TU engine):

Thanks. Was doing this work on my fathers car while I was in town and just put 9 quarts in. Left one extra and told him to store it in his trunk.
