N63 Oil-Consumption Litigation Update 2020
Just sharing this info...
Being the current owner of not one, but two BMW V8s, I still follow this story and any updates thereof. My current F0 had its engine replaced by BMW last Summer. So far so good. But I agree that a complete new engine design is long overdue. https://bimmerlife.com/2020/01/11/n6...tm_name=member

The article (and the lawsuits) from what I am reading, do not apply to the N63 updated engines. N63U and TU, I think. I've had 2 of those and (knock wood) have not seen any unsual oil consumption. My '17 750 had the turbo line campaign done about 18 months into my lease but I had not seen any issues, so it I guess it was preventative.
