Trunk space

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on a 760 but somewhat concerned about trunk space. This would be our road trip car and while it's only myself, wife and a 6 year old boy, we tend to bring to two large 29" suitcases and a carry-on style bag whenever we go somewhere. I currently have a X5 and obviously that fits without issue but the trunk space seem narrow in the G70. Has anyone done a roadtrip with a couple of large suitcases or at least tried to see if they fit?

Thanks. Went to the local dealer with a suitcase and you’re right, they do fit.

I watched a couple reviews recently and was irked to hear that “it’s not a road trip car”because rich folks fly. I like large cars for road trips. What’s more relaxing than a highway drive in a large luxurious sedan? Flying commercial certainly isn’t without lots of stress these days.

Fair point. The interior of G70 is so good that only the best private jets may beat it. I would drive it any day of the week over 1hr flights.

I guess it depends on how much you need to bring but two large suitcases (29”) fit in the trunk.

Packed car for nearly 6 weeks away. No problem with 3 or 4 medium sized suitcases, plus carry on type bags.
