Carbon black

Anyone seen carbon black 7 series in person? I put deposit on a 760 thats coming next week in carbon black on Tartufo. It was the only one matching all the options I wanted in my region. Do you guys think carbon black would look good on this car or better to find a black sapphire?

It’s a matter of personal preference. My 7 is black sapphire which is a truly black car. I’ve seen carbon black in person on the G70 and it has a bluish hue to it when it is in certain light. In my opinion, both color options look good on the G70’s frame.

I really like carbon black myself although I am a fan of blue cars and carbon black almost gives you both colors at once. I think the 7 looks stellar in both black sapphire and carbon black. The tanzanite blue is my favorite by far but again carbon black and black look fantastic too. As luck would have it, I was hoping to find one of these colors or a Dravit Gray on a dealership’s lot but ended up getting a Brooklyn grey that I could not pass up because of an awesome deal. Doesn’t look as stellar as these colors but still looks classy and sporty at the same time.

This thread is nothing if it doesn't have some pics. I picked up a 760 a few days ago that's Carbon Black with Tartufo interior.

Here's a shot of the car when they first pulled it inside to wash it and one after it was cleaned up. Looks black in the first pic, but you can see the blue in the second one. It really all depends on the lighting.

Carbon Black/Tartufo is beautiful. You will have no regrets. I have it and get compliments all the time:

Thanks everyone! I finally picked up my car yesterday and also love the carbon black/tartufo combo. So amazing that this paint color has so many different characters depending on how light hits it. Here's a photo at the dealership but will do more photos in the other thread after ceramic coating
