Anyone running Falken Azenis FK460 A/S tires?

Have to replace the BFGs on the rear of my car as they have not worn near as well as they should have & Michelin refuses to honor their warranty.

A great tire for the money, you won't get the same kind of performance, useless on the track but as a DD tire you could do a lot worse.

Of course useless on track, but my Hellcat is my DD. No tracking

Not sure if they are the same today, old Falkens I had (RT615, FK452), are fine for the first 50% of wear, then its performance noticeably falls off a cliff after, especially noticeable in the rain. Granted both of my experience is with summer tires, so all seasons may be a little different. Just something to keep in mind

Also debating this question since the takeoff of the conti dws's.

I have the first gen on my car, the pluses on my gf's e82, and I will most likely need to replace mine in the next year. Considering the falkens are over 300 dollars cheaper but have a similar warranty, I can't see why not other than poor long term performance.

I am debating between the falken fk510 (or the 520's if they ever finally come out) and the fk460's since I only drive around town.

Let us know what you decide!

Ran 510’s for a few years. Great all rounder. Dry grip best. Dry braking very good. Decent wet grip. Wet braking okay. Progressive. Road noise not bad. Wore out average compared to others.

Is it really that BAD on the track? I made a stupid mistake, the description fo the Falken FK460 was ultra high performance and they are rated ZR - I was trying to find a set of low price new tires to take my m2 to the track, ended buying a new set for $990 but Im wondering if I just wasted my money. I didnt notice they are 'All season' tires.

No A/S tire is going to be awesome on a track vs a track tire.

I have been driving my Hellcat on these tires for a couple weeks now.

They need a couple minutes to warm up.
Not as good dry traction as the BFGs they replaced so far
Wet traction seems to be fine
No noise

You got AS tires for the summer? Are you in New Zealand?

Well it's all subjective depending on your level of experience, a track rat who is out at the track every week and well versed in handling capabilities would probably advise you to save your pennies for a better set of performance tires.

For a guy who gets to the track once a summer those FK460's will be just fine.
It's a sliding scale of how much you pay to play, like I said, you could do a lot worse.
You've bought them now, give them a go and let everyone know what you think of them.

No a track rat but I do about 7-8 track days a year. Currently I had some used Pilot Sport 3s in my 2018 M2 but already did 5 track days with these. My buddy who is a track rat did say it was time to get new tires when he drove my car at Sonoma. I'll see if I can get at least the Falken FK512 ones, those are summer UHPs tires. same price nearly.
