Remote software update

Today a new upgrade was recommended , First it was downloaded on my BMW phone app and then it asked me to complete in the car it self , Once I started the upgrade I couldn't lock the car and it completely died while the upgrade was performing , i had to stay around 15-20 minutes inside the car , once the upgrade was complete the car I-drive started and everything was good but then i had a message that there is a problem in the power supply and it gave me the option to call roadside assistance , I ignored that and restarted the car again and this message disappeared. just wanted to give you guys heads-up if you are to install this upgrade and what to expect .

Wow , it seems that something happens to the battery during the update , I don't think I am gonna update the car again and better wait till next service

We're gonna miss the days when you just buy the car with the software it comes with and live with it for a few years

I'm away in Florida for a few weeks, and am going to wait until I get home (closer to dealer and other cars in case of issues) to do the update.
