Dash and Nav are dim

I have a 2020 740. The dash and nav become super dim during the day at times like it is dimming for night time. I’m sure it’s related to a light sensor or something. Anyone else have this issue? Can it be coded to be in daytime mode always (bright always)?

Do you happen to have tinted windows. Some owners on the X3 forum have reported this dimming. Some think it's being caused by their window tints.

bimmer coding
  • Instrument Cluster
  • 3005 FuBi_Parameter
  • DIM_DTN
  • Custom Value 0X3F to 0X7F (enter this value yourself)
  • Code

Your issue will be sorted.

This worked great and made everything nice and bright.

In coding instructions

DIM_DTM should be DIM_DTN

Thanks again!!!
