i7 awaiting carrier assignment

Very excited about this new status as of early this morning! I live in Dallas, so I assume it’s coming into Galveston port. About how long do you all think I will have to wait until it gets on a ship headed to the us?

If it sits for more than a week in that status you should get with your SA immediately. My iX M60 sat in Awaiting Carrier Assignment for 4 months (mine wasn’t the only one, and didn’t even sit the longest), until my SA finally had Distribution for NA get into the issue. BMWAG aren’t very forthcoming with answers, but per BMWNA it was never assigned to a carrier until they pushed. Long story short, Dingolfing has a tendency to just not care about getting cars shipped out.

Congrats. I picked up my 760 from BMW Dallas on the 6th. Car arrived in Galveston in the 18th, got to Dallas around the 28th of November. I’m not sure if thanksgiving impacted transit time from Galveston.

How long did it sit in Bremerhaven before getting on a ship?
