Very little can be done. I’m watching the thread on the iX forum to see progress but not sure if SP18 vs SP21 (which we have in the G70) makes a difference as well.
https://bmwi.bimmerpost.com/forums/s....php?t=1986420 I know someone with an iDrive 8 X7 VO coded away 5AP for anti-dazzle lighting and after a software update apparently the anti-dazzle started to work. I hope at some point the smart coding people out there will solve how to code our cars. |

Anti-dazzle is when the high beams create a “box” around cars in front to avoid blinding them while still giving you the most visibility possible. This hasn’t been legal in the US so BMW decoded this feature i.e. they disabled it on any cars sold here. Last year it became legal and I believe the X7 Alpina (XB7) will be the first car that has this feature enabled. I hope that means they’ll enable it for us as well through a software update.
