BMW Iconic Kidney Glow

Hello guys i just took this BMW G70 and i see that i am missing 3 options from the list here:

- BMW Iconic Kidney Glow
- BMW Skylounge lighting lines
- Bower & Wilkins Diamond but i see i have the normal ones, i don't understand what the hell is happening, maybe i don't know how to activate them

"took" - did you order it or did you just configure it?

in this configuration it looks like all three are selected...

Agree with RollingTaser. Looks like you sent the on-line configurator. Did you actually order? If you ordered, there should be a document from the dealer showing what was ordered, well before production or delivery.
If you are buying from dealer inventory there should be a window sticker of some kind.

So please clarify.

I received this configuration from the guys where i took this car, the car has all the specifications on those configuration except the 3 above, after checking properly it seems that i don't have them and i am pretty sad.

Well, I'm sorry this didn't work out for you. I might report that I've got all three and will say this:

The BMW iconic kidney lights are truly wonderful to have - I LOVE that lighting at the front of the car. While I don't get to see it much personally (unless I'm viewing it coming into my driveway via my security cams), I know they make for a unique presence on the road for all to see (I've always driven w/my headlights on for safety reasons so they're always visible). The G70 is a statement car and the Iconic Grill is an exclamation point on that statement.

The enhanced B&W "Diamond" system's audio is spectacular, and admittedly I'm extremely glad I upgraded there. HOWEVER, I would bet you dollars to donuts that 9 out of 10 people would find the standard system more than adequate; and

The "skylounge lights" -- a $995 option I added on my i7 eDrive50 -- are largely unimpressive to me. I thought they moved in a show-like fashion and did more than just sit there where you can only change their colors to match your cockpit. I don't even notice or care much about them at night. I wished I would've save the money there.

Ultimately, for potential purchasers, the lesson learned here should be that one should certainly check and double-check what they are (factory) ordering and/or (dealer lot) obtaining to ensure there are no misunderstandings or discrepancies regarding what you feel you should be getting.

If they are deal breakers you may be able to get more money off. Not sure if you have taken delivery yet. The iconic grill is something you rarely see and never while driving so maybe you won’t miss it and the sky lounge is cool mostly for friends to see once as it feels very Rolls Royce like with their star light headliner. After that you never look up. BUT the B&W Diamond stereo would really make me mad if I didn’t have it. It is astounding. Maybe look at the money you saved and spend it on some mods or radar detector (needed!), or a PPF wrap?

I will add my two cents also. I had the grille lights on the first G70 I had (which was totaled, see other thread). The replacement is a 23 Mstyle and it does not have the iconic grille. I miss it but it is really no big deal and would not be a deal breaker. The skylight is something the driver would almost never look at, so that may be cool but also wouldn't be a deal breaker. I did not have the Diamond sound system on my first car, but it is on the second and the difference is very easy to hear even with my tin ear.

I guess the issue here is what exactly did you pay for? Did you pay for the three options but they were not delivered? Or did you think you paid for them, think you ordered them, but did not? If it is the dealership that provided you with the configuration you posted and represented that as the car you were getting, then you have a beef with them. But still, besides that configuration sheet, wasn't there an order that was placed and you approved? It is all very confusing but maybe things work differently in Romania.

Yes, i already took this car. So, i have some guys who have deals with BMW and sell cars for them, we are friends and they sold me this car, at first i didn't check the options, but after i took it i instantly checked for the iconic grill and speakers as i had a x6 before with the grill and a friend of mine has the series 8 with the bower & wilkins diamond and i saw i don't have them and on the configuration link they sent before the car arrived i saw that these options were included. My question is if i can go now to
BMW to add these options?

These are options that need to be added at factory or else it will be financially unreasonable to change. I’m not sure if the iconic flow kidney grille can be added after factory as there is a connector that goes to it, so I’m not sure if that connector is even there behind the grille or not, BMW does not typically leave empty connected for options not installed, other than say a trailer hitch connector/retrofit harness.
