Nope, but I've had a smoked salmon BLT. I'd like to try the fried variant.

Some of my favorites:

potbelly sandwich's in Chicago
Bistro Burger at the Corner Bistro - West Village NY
In and Out Burger - South and West coast burger chain

And probably my favorite -

Arties Deli - Upper west side NYC, the Hot Brisket sandwich. It's amazing

This was originally in Maxim mag believe it or not. I just mix fish fry and bread crumbs then pepper for the coating. Then for the sauce mayo and Emerils essence which is easy. Tastes awesome.

Salmon BLT
1/4 cup yellow cornmeal
2 Tbs Japanese breadcrumbs
1/2 tsp ground pepper
3/4 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp dried thyme, salt, oregano
Coat four six ounce fillets. Heat frying pan with olive oil and cook 4-5 minutes turning once. Mix 2 tbs Vietnamese chili paste with 1 cup mayonaise and spread on the toasted bread. Add arugula, tomato, bacon.

1. Grilled Portabello, Mozarella and Basil sandwich on Grilled Pannini.
2. BeaaLT = Bacon, Egg, Avocado, Alfafa, Lettuce, Tomato
3. PB&J

p.s. that sounds real good Jimi. I'll try that. The Japanese breadcrumbs are Panco (sp?)?

If any of you have seent the movie Spanglish, you probably noticed the sandwich that Adam Sandler's character made. It was basically a BLT with an egg over medium sandwiched in to top it off. It looked so good in the movie that I made one. Truly sinful. Give it a try! The egg has to be cooked just right though...slightly crispy around the edges, but the yolk still soft.
