i7 back seats setting always return to default

Is there a way to permanently set the back seat position to my preferred position? My i7 has the back seats with massage function (not lounge seats), and it will always return to the default position when I open the back door. It is pretty annoying as I mostly sit at the back and I have to use the seat memory function (which unlike the front seat there is no direct button on the door panel) everytime I get into the car.

The brightness on the door panel touchscreen also has similar issue. It always return to the default brightness setting everytime I switched off and lock the car. Anyone got a solution?

Anyone? Or most users simply don't bother with the rear seats seating position?

The i7 I test drove yesterday had the rear seats positioned not in the default way and that persisted through turning on and off and they were that way when I got into it, so there must be a setting for this.
