Need your help - Confirm missing/altered part.

Hey everyone.

I was doing some maintenance on my 2013 BMW 750i and, after hearing a louder than usual A/C compressor noise, decided to look at the blower.

When I took out the trim panel I found the exposed wiring where I suspect a cover should have been.

Can anyone confirm for me if I am missing a cover and/or if the wiring is not original?

Thanks in advance.

An update...

Thank you for the reply.

I did some digging around and interestingly, the cover, grommet, and bottom plate are all parts that are not available for me according to my BMW dealer and realoem.com. Apparently, that is the case for all LCI F01.

The parts manager said he would inquire with BMW NA.

Very strange...
