Refill Coolant

Hi all. 3 weeks ago, my 2018 750 with 22,000km gave me a low coolant warning. There was no sign of a leak on the garage floor.

I went by the dealer and they topped it up without noting any issues.

I got the same warning again today. Again, no sign of a leak. It's been hot outside so contraction in cold weather wouldn't explain it.

And I drove 2 hours home from the cottage without any overheating.

Any thoughts? The dealer is closed until Tuesday because of a holiday.

Thanks in advance.

It could be the sensor, or you actually have coolant leaking.

I have the same issue on my 2016 750. Just got it with 35k miles in January and wanted a top-off at 42k miles. Another top-off today at 48k miles. Not a lot, but about a couple of cups? No apparent leaks.

Small Head gasket leak. The engine gets hot enough to burn off the coolant. That's why you don't see an external leak. Had same issue on 5 series. It will only get worse.
