Love the looks of this car. Moving the game on and needs to always differ for the excellently conventional S Class.

Thanks for sharing our video (the Out of Spec really long one)! What a car - also drove the 760i, no video sadly, and that was truly stellar as well. However, for me, I'd have the i7 all day.

At least at the US launch in Palm Springs there were no PHEV / Inline 6 variants of the car. Only 760i and i7 60

Besides the unattractive design it's a really nice car. The interior/tech is really modern and push the buck forward. The S-class is nice but this is something else.

Agree about the interior, it is very nicely designed other than the hidden climate and seat heating controls, which is really why it is such a shame that the front design of the car is just very unattractive.

I typically really like a flagship vehicle spec'd with white and chrome as it usually makes the most elegant and opulent look. For the first time in a while, I find the luxury front end of the 7er better than the black cladded M-sport, but its only available on the i7 and still not very pretty. If I wanted it in white like my S I'd have to look at this in my garage everyday and the black-plastic everywhere and double headlights is a complete eyesore. Not interested in darker colors like black or grey. If the front end had one set of headlights and decent sized grills I'd be all over an i7.

Don't tell that to all the Mercedes/S Class enthusiasts that shop with their eyes only. The G11/G12 was arguably more tech-advanced than the W222.

The problem with the 7er is despite how feature-packed and how much better the quality, it doesn't look like one cohesive product. You can see the good stuff individually but as a overall package, the S Class does a way better job.

The face looks good to me.
And the dashboard? You mean the interior? Literally best I’ve ever seen on any car, ever.
I think it looks better than all the Bentleys and Rolls Royces.
I think it’s the only design that truly blends luxury and modern & tech focused designed.

Front works for the X7…but here I'm not so sure. Waiting to see it in person before I can decide one way or another.
