Honestly i think if my C7Z was an auto, it would have 1000rwhp right now.

I decided not to heavily modify this car because of how nuts it is already. Even when it was bone stock it was a handful. The manual makes it a chore to drive all out. I can't imagine this car at 1000rwhp with a manual. It'd be a waste IMHO.

I've seen auto C7Z's with a lot less power taking down manual cars with more power.

But i'll keep enjoying mine as i get closer to my C8's coming. It'll be a very tough decision when that time comes that's for sure.

we obviously have similar tastes:my e86 coupe remains one of all time faves

and yes the corvette's engines are rather mundane compared to a high performance german engine and even the C7's interior was crude compared to a premium german car

Not to mention the LT1/LT4 is essentially bulletproof.

Can't say the same for most german stuff that's making a lot less HP.

I bought this C5 ZO6 last fall for 22k, NCRS 'Top Flight' car back in '19. As for 'bang for the buck', show me another 22k car that will compete. I'll wait patiently ...........
