Hi Mb_1993, a fellow E38 lover here, although never owned one. Very nice ride and quite a bit of mods you've done there! I still feel the E38 had the best overall look of all the 7's and it is what made me want a 7 many years ago...

I thought there were sub forums for the previous gen's of 7's (E23, E38, E65) at one point but maybe I'm mistaken...you'll have noticed your post in in the G11/12 forum so may not get as much interest or love as a dedicated forum to the E38...

Just wanted to say you've got a lovely ride there and if you are on FB and haven't yet joined or seen it...there is a great E38 group called E38 Empire....might be worth looking into.

I had a TiAg long wheel base sport. I always thought the Stratus Grey and Imola Red 740i Sports were the best!!!

Hi all, did they ever sell a manual e38 in the US? Thinking of one as a daily, are they fit for that purpose?

I had a pre facelift about 6 years ago that i 6 speed swapped. Still one of my favorite cars ive owned.

No…not from the factory. If you find one in the USA…it was created by a previous owner.

My 97 e38 was probably my favorite BMW…I liked it so much I kept it the longest. I held onto it for 15 years…beating out my 1985 325e by one year in regards to years of ownership.
