The car is gorgeous. I would be hesitant myself because I have no experience maintaining a matte finish. What is involved?

Great video. Thank you! It confirms that frozen is very different to maintain. I'll stick with gloss.

I was also interested in 'frozen' paints, but keeping them in good shape seems to be like mission impossible. It seems that the best option to get the 'frozen' (matte paint) exterior would be to just use one of those matte foils over a gloss pain, which is best option for both worlds: gives protection for the pain and also the expected look

I've had a frozen silver M3, IF you don't like washing your car by hand then yes you'll think it's a pain, but if you do like to wash your car it's no harder than normal paint, it's just a satin BASF lacquer over the standard BMW paint.

Around 3k, I got quotes from 3-5k. It does not affect the factory paint. Care details same as a regular car you just should'nt wash the car with a car wash soap that has wax/shine in it or else it will ruin the satin/matte look. There are a lot of videos on youtube on how to care for a satin or matte vehicle.
