2016 bmw 750

Looking at a 2016 750, pretty much fully loaded w 22k on odo, any thing I should look for or any issues with these models? I previously had a 12 750 before I bought my current bmw. Trading my 15 650gc in for it. Need the extra room, 6 is to small.

Also warranty is expiring in 6 months anyone purchase after market or stick w bmw extended ?

TIA

2016 750

stay with the bmw extended warranty. I bought an extra year of coverage. And may purchase another before 2020. For two grand its worth it to me as i love to take highway trips. This is my fourth 7 series and at times it feels too long but it is indeed a beast on the road. Good luck

I agree.. bmw extended is the best way to go. Get maintenance to match. Brakes will need to be changed soon and that alone will cover the maintenance.

What some might not have caught was starting 2017 model year going forward Bmw changed there warranties in which maintenance is a separate warranty so u had to get a regular warranty plus the maintenance plan as well but if ur looking at a 2016 maintenance was still included in the warranty for up to 2016 models !!!! That was the last year of this But double check with ur SA because that's what was told to me by my SA I had a 16 before i traded it in for my 18

I'm considering something similar, 2016 750i xDrive.
I'm a DIYer, not afraid to get my hands dirty. How important is a warranty?

I've not really seen any posts of any serious problems with the G12 750i on any forum. Although that may partly be due to their rarity. I have never seen one of these cars in my local area, ever, and only occasionally see the previous F02 body. However, I've also searched Google for N63TU2 problems, but haven't really come across anything there either. Most issues are with N63/N63TU.

I've heard the newer platform is more reliable. Having said that, I picked up a CPO with 19K miles on the clock with 25k as of today. Since then, I've had a failed coolant line causing coolant leak, fuel pump fail, steering controller for lane departure and vibration go out, seat fan fail, and numerous other items. Nothing related to the motor yet. I'm thankful for warranty at this point. I've had numerous bmws in the past, never had so many issues in such little time.

I might just have a lemon
