2024 BMW i7, sometimes the car does not immediately log me into my account at start?

2024 BMW i7, sometimes the car does not immediately log me into my account at start?

It turns on with GUEST USER and I have to manually select my BMW ID. Why is it not automatically signing in? Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt. Everything else is set correctly in the settings that it should sign in with Keys, etc...

Anyone else experience this? Have a solution or tips?

Thank you!

Doesn't the digital card key always use guest? Maybe that's the problem.

Go into your key settings and associate whichever keys are detected in your cabin with your preferred driver’s profile.

Do this for all digital keys, physical keys, and key cards.

correct - the profile is linked to the key. you have to attach it to it.

You need to go into your profile setting and link all keys to that profile

Try this:

This worked for me.

Leave all keys, digital, cell phone, physical key fobs away from the car.

Bring into the car the fob you want to link with your profile.

Select your BMW ID profile from among the various profiles loaded in your car.

Place the key fob in the cell phone charging space in front of the cupholders.

Go through the Profile menu on iDrive to link that physical key to your profile.

The placement of the fob into the cell phone charging spot is not specified in the owner's manual.
