I always thought that new smell was the off gassing of various volatile chemicals from vinyls, adhesives, and plastics?

Cool that there's someone designing scents and smells for bmw though!!

Pretty sure this is referring to the smells that are part of the Scent package.

The Ultimate "smelling" experience...
The Joy of "smelling"...

Ok I'll stop but this is cool that there is someone specialized in this.

Love that wonderful benzene that builds up from the adhesives on a hot day when the car is parked outside. I'm sure these wonderful cancer causing smells will bring us endless joy and hallucinations for years to come.

I think this should be a must with all BMWs. At the end of the day, you could choose to buy or not buy the scent capsules and frequency of use.
I would even go further having BMW working with top "Noses" (Perfurmers) to make signature ambient scents for BMW.
I would spend some serious money on this and many other people would as well.

Such a waste of $. Would prefer BMW would focus more on design than stupid stuff like this.

Seriously. Some smells, however slight, can send people (and passengers) over the edge.

The last thing I need is a passenger puking at the artificial smell of my new 7 into the countless vent holes in my seats.

Turning on the seat ventilation will then be a complex scent of this woman's idea of a luxo barge fragrance, benzene, and whatever partially digested chunks that sifted inside the damn seat.

The cost to do this is a drop in the bucket for BMW, and gives the 7 series a unique feature. This is a luxury car.

I'm pretty sure it was her entire job to sort all of that out.

Didn't MB already do this first in the S class? Kinda dumb if you ask me. Most people that buy these will make it smell like scotch and cigars

Hmm weird job!
I like my car to have no scent. I guess it's good that I have a convertible then.

We need a retrofit.

Honestly, Mercedes (I'm thinking the fake leather models) smells amazing. I need that smell in my car.

I watched the whole thing. And I don't understand a word of French!

I hope BMW make a 7 series scent that smells like her hair. I also think her voice and sexy French accent should be the official soundtrack of the new BMW 7 series. If they can also get her to do the voice commands, I'm buying one tomorrow. Imagine getting in your car and this angel greets you in in her silky French voice!
