Door Sill Lighting Color Change

Hello - I recently purchased a 2020 740i. It is glacier silver exterior. The orange Door sill lights look pink in sunlight. Is there a way to code these to other colors? I would like to use blue to match the interior lighting setting.

Also - The instrument cluster and the Nav screen dim dramatically during the daytime....often so dim you can hardly read. Is there a setting to change the dimming mode?

I have bimmercode and have coded many things such as the blue Alpina Guages which look great with the blue door lighting. They are much cleaner in appearance than the BMW factory gauge look.

the sill color is determined by the plate (which depends on the model/trim: "BMW" (red); "M" (blue/red/dark blue) or "eDrive" (blue)), and is not programmable like ambient lighting.

It means that the door sill design dictates the color of its lighting (whether the door sill shows "BMW", "M", etc); it's not configurable.
