Bowers & Wilkins

Does anyone know how to add the Bowers & Wilkins tone with Bimmercode?

Thanks in advance.

Found it. Coded with no issues . Instructions below:

1. Go to HeadUnit (HU_NBT2) in Bimmercode
2. Click "Expert" and accept that you are going to cause the next pandemic.
3a. Under 3000_HMI. Go to HIGH_END_AUDIO_B_UND_W. Change from "Kein_Menue" to "Volle_insz".
3b. Under 3000_HMI. Go to HIGH_END_AUDIO_MENUE. Change from "Kein_Menue" to "Volle_insz".
4a. Switch to 300B_Touch_Command. Go to TC_HIGH_END_AUDIO_B_UND_W. Change from "Kein_Menue" to "Volle_insz".
5. Press CODE.

A naive question. Is this for cars without the B&w setup.

How does it work without the relevant B&W hardware e.g. speakers, amp, head unit etc

I think it sounds richer, but the difference is not that significant. I like the B&W concert mode. The downside of the B&W coding is that you lose the speed volume control (the option that increases/decreases sound based upon car speed).

I have Bimmercode but have never used expert mode because it might as well be in Swahili. Then I see posts like this. How on earth did you know that "Volle insz" was what you were looking for?

I don't speak German either. But it helps that there are 1000's of other people on this forum that have used these codes successfully without any issues.

Totally agree - up to a point. If I'm looking for a very specific change that I know or suspect exists, I can search for it on the forums. Or if I stumble on a thread like this, I learn something new. But mostly I don't know what is possible, so I can't peruse my options or know what to search for. I've been hoping the developer would make expert mode look like regular mode, or some kind soul would create a cheat sheet. But I've not seen that, if it exists.

Does anyone know if the B&W tone can be coded into a car with hi-fi? I have a g30 with bimmertech DSP Amp. Have to plug into the amp in the trunk to play with eq settings. Sure would be nice to do so from the IDrive in the cabin.
